Collective leadership assessment

A highly-interactive and insightful workshop that allows participants to collectively investigate assessment insights, and forge a path forward, while coming to better understand themselves and one another.

A robust culture is paramount to executing on strategy and driving the mission of a team and organization. The Collective Leadership Assessment™ (CLA) delivers a powerful litmus test of collective leadership effectiveness for teams or entire organizations. The CLA is a comprehensive view of where employees view current collective leadership effectiveness compared to the desired collective effectiveness. The “gap” between current collective effectiveness and desired instantly reveals development opportunities. Additionally, the CLA compares your team’s or organization’s effectiveness against a global database. Completing the assessment requires 20-30 minutes per person.

The Collective Leadership Assessment™ will:

  • Establish a compelling rationale for change.

  • Focus leadership development efforts.

  • Delineate leadership challenges associated with acquisitions, mergers, and restructuring plans.

  • Correlate leadership to productivity, profits, turnover, and other bottom line metrics.

The Collective Leadership Assessment™ uses the same integral framework that makes the Leadership Circle Profile™ so effective and impressive. It measures 8 inner dimensions and 31 outer dimensions, through which to understand your current and desired collective leadership effectiveness.

Insights Discovery

Insights Discovery is psychometric tool based on the psychology of Carl Jung and helps people understand themselves, understand others, and make the most of the relationships that affect them in the workplace. It is suitable for all levels and gives learners the foundation of self-awareness they’ll need to be successful at whatever they do; whether that’s developing themselves, working as part of an effective team, or leading others with authenticity.

Through Insights Discovery, individuals will gain a common language that has wide-ranging benefits, including connecting colleagues across geographical and cultural boundaries, and providing a safe platform for feedback conversations.

Outcomes

  • Increased understanding of personality-influenced leadership and communication styles

  • Better understanding of colleagues’ styles (and operating preferences), as well as tactics to enhance communication and collaboration.

  • Analysis of collective team strengths and potential blind spots.

Engagement

  • Each employee completes a pre-retreat self-assessment (~20 minutes).

  • Pre-retreat review of personal results (15 minutes to several hours).

  • highly participant-centered workshop focused on deepening personal understanding, as well as strategies to work more effectively with colleagues.

  • Skilled facilitation focuses on engagement, as well as trust building and effective communication.

Leadership & Culture Diagnostic

Understand where you are before deciding where to go—with meaningful data, employee voices, and a clear PATH forward.

Organizations often know that something needs attention but struggle to see the whole picture. Engagement may be uneven. Leadership expectations may differ across departments. Values may be clearly articulated but inconsistently experienced. Existing initiatives may be working well in some parts of the organization while creating duplication, uncertainty, or unintended gaps in others.

The Path Collective Leadership & Culture Assessment provides an evidence-based picture of how leadership, culture, employee experience, and organizational systems are working together. We combine validated assessment tools with the lived experiences of employees to identify strengths worth preserving, areas of friction, and practical opportunities for improvement.

The result is not simply another survey or report. It is a shared understanding of where your organization is today—and a prioritized, achievable path forward.

Teaming in Action

The Collaborative Team Simulation

Turn self-awareness into better teamwork—when the pressure is on.

Understanding your communication and leadership style is valuable. Being able to adapt that style when priorities compete, information is incomplete, and different personalities must work together is where self-awareness begins to improve performance.

This highly interactive half-day experience combines an Insights Discovery® profile and facilitated debrief with a realistic team simulation. Participants first explore how they communicate, make decisions, approach problems, influence others, and may be perceived by colleagues. They then immediately put that awareness to work in a hands-on collaborative challenge.

As the scenario unfolds, participants must share information, clarify roles, manage time, negotiate competing priorities, and make decisions together. Familiar team dynamics quickly become visible: who takes control, who asks questions, whose contribution may be overlooked, how the group responds to uncertainty, and whether different perspectives are genuinely incorporated.

The facilitated reflection connects those experiences back to each participant’s Insights Discovery profile, helping the team transform a memorable activity into practical commitments for working more effectively together.

We absolutely LOVED working with Path Collective during our annual staff retreat. Path was amazing and the insights discovered about ourselves and each other during the leadership assessment were invaluable. Path’s ability to relate to so many different personalities, put everyone at ease while pushing them a bit outside their comfort zones and infuse all of it with humor was wildly effective. We had tangible take-aways that we were able to implement immediately after the retreat and look forward to working with Path Collective again in the future”
